Why is it so complicated for a normal girl to get a boyfriend? Nothing much has changed from generation to generation and I use to think the same thing. Now my niece is complaining that she has a hard time landing a boyfriend and she’s attractive with a sweet personality. Young men are at their sexual peek and usually try to “hit” on a girl that w…ill “go all the way. There are still some young men out there with values and you just have to get out there and find them. Sex today is tough on younger people and more seems to be expected from them or they don’t fit in. The best thing you can do is set your values, respect yourself and don’t do anything you don’t want to do until you are ready and never mind what your peers think. Strive to be different because it rubs off on others. Meanwhile get out with friends and have a great time.

More than half of online daters felt that at least one of their matches misrepresented himself or herself — in other words, that the match lied about his or her likes, dislikes, personality traits and even appearance. Women Want Younger Men And, according to the Pew poll, more daters expect that the people they meet on the site will lie about themselves. Faking any part of an online-dating profile, however, may be a shortsighted strategy.
So why do people do it? And more important, if so many online-dating users assume people are garnishing their profiles in some way, why do they continue to look for relationships on these sites?

So to start off my family and this girls family are close and we have know each other for a few years. Sense day one we would fight with each other. Because of this our families would poke fun at us saying that we love each other. Now the thing is, I have caught her staring at me a lot throughout the years and I caught myself doing the same thing, plus there have been a couple of times that we would get along and when we did it was always great and amazingly fun.
But with all this I felt the only between me and her, we knew without talking to each other, why we act the way we do and that we might actually like each other. Now with this in mind, recently she has been coming to my house alot, being nicer to me and around me, and a couple of times she has asked me to help her with her homework, and she has never asked me that ever. So now I’m confused because just a month or 2 before, she acted like she hated me and now she is acting nicer.
I think I might actually like her because lately I can’t get her off my mind, and I want to know if what I’m thinking, that if we both know we secretly like each other, is not just in my head, and how do I approach this and ask her out or something.

October 29, Why straight men rationally dislike gay men [Inspired by a conversation I just overheard in the campus dining hall between a flaming gay and his homely but slutty chick friend, who was sharing quite loudly the details of her waking up next to a guy whose name she didn’t know but had gotten banged by earlier. Only a freshman in college, she is well on her way to becoming this middle-aged whore that Roissy observed at the end of her trainwreck.
Of course there are all sorts of visceral reactions that straights have toward gays, the most obvious being the thought — or heaven forbid, the mental image — of two guys doing it. And as enlightened human beings, we’re supposed to put aside such “yuck test” results and provide clearer reasons. So here’s a perfectly rational motivation that straight men have to make homosexuals knock off their gayness:

Daily business briefing Warning: This article contains sexually explicit material. A straight guy licked my face once. It was in high school between classes and I was at my locker, running late as always. One of the guys from our school’s soccer team walked up to me, which I thought was unusual. We weren’t friends exactly, friendly enough to say hello in the hallway but not make time for conversation, and definitely not friends enough for a full stop.
I turned from my books, and before I knew it, his saliva was smeared all across my cheek. Intrigued but totally unprepared for this, I quickly yelped, ”No, I can’t,” and scuttled the other direction. We barely talked for the rest of high school. That guy is married to a woman now, as is the first guy I hooked up with, and a lot of the mostly heterosexual men I was a little more than friends with in high school.
There’s a scene in Donna Tartt’s masterful The Goldfinch that sums up these experiences well. Theo and his best friend, Boris, take in more than their fair share of drugs and alcohol as kids growing up outside Las Vegas, and to use a phrase, ”Shit happens.

Many well-meaning allies, friends, and family members of transgender people will say things like: Before we talk about how that sentiment alone is transphobic, I want to be direct about the fear that trans people, especially trans women, face in the world of dating cisgender people. Dating as a trans woman online or in person often means an exhausting stream of inappropriate, fetishizing, dehumanizing, and sometimes violent messages asking about my genitals, people expecting praise for fetishizing me, and others assuming my identity is either not authentic or repulsive in some way.
This gets even more complicated when trans women are trying to date straight cisgender men. These men are interested in my femininity, even though they may be worried about being seen as gay just for hitting on a woman with a penis, or having sex with a girl who used to have one. Transphobic people will assert practically anything to get away from the much simpler truth, what trans people have been saying for decades: This happens because we, as a culture, seem to want trans people to both be cis-appearing enough to be invisible, but also we expect trans people to out themselves at every possible moment, just to make them even easier to avoid.
When I came out as a trans woman, the first concern I heard from many close friends and family members were two things: It also says a lot that these are the first things I heard, much louder and more common than excitement, gratitude for my trust, and celebration of my trans identity.
